Everyone reacts differently to VR, however with the quality of the VR headsets that are currently available, it is unlikely that you will experience any adverse effects. If you have a history of vertigo or pre-existing eye conditions, please use VR with caution and contact the team before booking if you have concerns.
For schools, we recommend the Meta Quest 3 and 3S headsets as an affordable, user-friendly option. An alternative is the Pico Neo 3 or Pico 4 headsets which do not require Meta accounts and include enterprise features at a higher price point. We can supply all models with extended warranties and tailored advice.

Our free consultation calls are the perfect opportunity for us to understand more about your current infrastructure and software understanding. We'll also take this time to analyse your situation to recommend the best training path and/or hardware solution for your needs. This is also a great time for you to ask us any questions about our services or about VR in general.
To get the most out of your consultation call, it helps to have a clear idea of what you want to achieve from VR. Gather any relevant information or questions you can ahead of time and if there's something you'd like to ask us ahead of the call, please do not hesitate to reach out. It would be advantageous to consider what challenges you're facing and what's most important to you, so we can focus on what really matters.
Our specialist 1:1 support is designed to iron out any minor issues after a training session or delve deeper into a specific topic that we may not have time to cover during a scheduled workshop. These support sessions can also be used to review a design project where you may need some help with intricate detailing or presentation techniques. All support sessions will conclude with a follow-up email containing resources on techniques we covered and advice/suggestions for further design development.
Support sessions must be booked in blocks of two hours that can be broken up into 30 minute calls and you are welcome to purchase as much 1:1 support as you need. Please note that support session time must be used with 3 months from the date of purchase and are non-refundable.
Professional Certification: Focuses on advancing your skills within a specific design industry, like automotive or footwear. It requires 30 hours of VR work and proficiency in advanced surfacing, rapid form iteration, and presentations. Applications for the Professional certification can take place in the Gravity Sketch VR app and the Gravity Sketch site.
Expert Certification: Builds on this by requiring completion of both the Designer and Professional levels, plus the submission of a project showcasing your entire VR design process. This includes a 3 minute video walkthrough and a portfolio submission of three projects which use Gravity Sketch. Those that apply for the Expert certification are required to take a skillset examination as part of their application and are required to achieve a minimum of 80% accuracy. Applications for the Expert Certification can only take place within the Gravity Sketch site.
To find out more about the certifications and apply, please head to https://gravitysketch.com/certification-program/
Time to complete either certifications depends on how much time you commit to working in Gravity Sketch. However, for the Professional Certification, a minimum of 30 hours must be spent in Gravity Sketch VR and for the Expert Certification, 50 hours must be spent in Gravity Sketch VR.
For in-person Staff training a minimum of 5 members of staff are required. For online training we are happy to work on a 1:1 basis with your team. Please note that if a session has to be repeated, this may impact the overall cost of the training package.
