Our Journey.

Mesh Training Ltd. was created by Priten Chauhan and Rob Evans, two product designers who joined the Gravity Sketch Student Ambassador program during their time at Nottingham Trent University. With the return of in-person teaching during their final year, they began to teach their coursemates through 1:1 sessions which rapidly grew to teaching timetabled sessions across all three-year groups and various design courses by the end of the year.

Although Rob has now moved on to new endeavours, Priten’s passion to provide designers with new skills and learning experiences remains at his forefront and has laid the foundations for what Mesh Training is today.

Priten now runs Mesh Training full-time with the support of Edward Howe, our VR implementation specialist with the same mission at their forefront - to elevate workflows and inspire the next generation.

  • Priten and Ed led a two VR training sessions to our Y10 Design and Technology students. The training was engaging, exciting and inclusive. Students came out of the sessions with a huge 'buzz' understanding Gravity Sketch and the tools it and how this links to careers and the wider world. We can't wait as staff to get training ourselves to roll out VR to other subjects and curriculum areas. We are looking at running a Women in Technology club and further embedding our VR headsets into the explanation of careers in this industry and future careers!
