Our Journey.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, like many other design students, Priten Chauhan and co-founder Rob Evans faced the uncertainty of whether they would be able to return to university to utilise its resources like the workshops and complete their degrees. The sudden loss of collaborative spaces and access to hands-on tools created a real challenge in developing and exploring design ideas beyond traditional sketching and model-making. In search of new ways to push their creativity, they discovered Gravity Sketch through the Student Ambassador Scheme and quickly realised its potential, not just as a workaround, but as a transformative design tool.

They began teaching others what they had learned, starting with small sessions with their peers which soon grew into full workshops and classes across the Product Design cohort. This experience built the foundations of Mesh Training Ltd., which has now become the primary provider of Gravity Sketch training for the design education sector.

Today, as a Gravity Sketch Certified Trainer and Final Year CAD Lecturer at Nottingham Trent University, Priten continues to empower the next generation of designers with immersive tools that instil collaboration, creativity, and confidence. His passion for providing the next generation of designers with new skills and learning experiences remains at the heart of Mesh Training’s mission.
