Everyone reacts differently to VR, however with the quality of the VR headsets that are currently available, it is unlikely that you will experience any adverse effects. If you have a history of, or regularly experience vertigo and/or if you have a pre-existing eye condition (including by not limited to; eye strain, blurred, altered or double vision), it is recommended that you use VR with caution. Please get in contact with the team before booking onto a session if you have any questions or concerns regarding this.
-
For schools, we recommend the Meta Quest 3 and 3S headsets. They’re affordable, comfortable and user-friendly. These headsets are ideal for interactive, immersive learning experiences across various subjects too and have a vast library of apps available. It should be noted that a Meta (previously Facebook) account is required to set up the headsets which is a barrier for some schools. An alternative option is to look at the Pico Neo 3 or Pico 4 headsets. No Meta account is required, however these headsets come in at a higher price point due to the higher quality of internal components.
All headset models are available to purchase via Mesh Training with an extended warranty from the manufacturer. If you’re interested in finding out more about which headset would be best for your use case please do not hesitate to get in touch.
-
Yes, we can assist in setting up your VR infrastructure for your school or organisation. Starting with a brief consultation call, we will assess your needs and existing infrastructure in order to recommend the right hardware and software. Once you’re ready to go, we’ll also configure your new devices so you have a plug and play system that’s ready to go on delivery. On delivery, we can also train your staff to ensure the headsets are used correctly and safely and managed correctly. Whether you’re starting from scratch or expanding an existing setup, we’re here to help make the process seamless and efficient.
