Meta Quest 3S Giveaway Terms & Conditions
1. The Promoter
For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, "The Promoter" refers to Mesh Training Ltd. (Company No. 15088367, Registered Address: Dryden Enterprise Centre, Dryden Street, Nottingham, NG1 4FQ).
2. The Prize
The "Prize" refers to one (1) Meta Quest 3S 128GB Headset (valued at £329.98) plus two (2) hours of 1:1 training (valued at £75 per hour), syllabus curation fee and software access (valued at £150), and mainland UK shipping (valued at £10.35). The total defined "Cost Price" of the Prize is Six Hundred and Forty Great British Pounds and Thirty Three pence (£640.33).
3. Eligibility
The competition is open only to residents of mainland United Kingdom aged 18 years or over. Employees of Mesh Training Ltd. and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition are excluded from entering. No purchase is necessary to enter the competition.
4. Agreement to Terms
By entering the competition, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and the Mesh Training Ltd. privacy policy.
5. How to Enter
The route to entry is via social media (LinkedIn or Instagram). To enter, participants must:
- Take a picture of them taking part in a VR activity or take a picture of the headset cases on our Stand (G25) during the Engineering Design Show 2026.
- Post the picture to LinkedIn or Instagram.
- Include one example in the caption of how they would use VR in their industry.
- Tag Mesh Training Ltd. in the post.
- Note: Entrants are not required to submit their contact details via the stand's digital capture form to be eligible for the giveaway.
6. Competition Timeline
The competition closes at 19:00 BST on Friday, 9th October 2026. All entries must be posted by this time.
7. Judging and Right to Cancel
Only one entry per person will be accepted; multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified. The winner will be selected based on the creativity of the picture and the innovation of the caption. The Promoter retains the right to cancel the giveaway entirely, without written notice, if no entrant provides a suitable or sufficiently high-quality submission.
8. Winner Notification
The winner will be announced on 10th November 2026. The winner will be contacted via Direct Message (DM) on the social media platform (LinkedIn or Instagram) they used to enter. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
9. Affiliations
The Engineering Design Show (EDS), its event partners, and Oculus/Meta or Gravity Sketch are not in any way affiliated or involved in the competition.
10. Liabilities
The Promoter will not be held liable if the named prize becomes unavailable or cannot be fulfilled. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any entries which are lost, delayed, illegible, corrupted, damaged, incomplete or otherwise invalid. To the extent permitted by applicable law, The Promoter shall not be liable for any indirect, special or consequential cost, expense, loss or damage suffered by a participant.
11. Prize Conditions and Delivery
Prizes are non-negotiable, non-transferable and non-refundable. No cash alternative is available. The prize will be delivered via Royal Mail through their 5kg 2nd Class Signed for Service. Delivery is restricted to mainland UK only.
12. General
The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England. The winner's name will be available 28 days after the closing date upon request by emailing info@meshtraining.co.uk.
